Spencer has been a mentor at TechTown and the OU/Mac Business Incubator; a part-time faculty at University of Detroit/Mercy (graduate-level Information Systems); and has worked for IBM, Price Waterhouse & Co, Wayne State University. He has been a consultant to many fortune 500 clients, as well as small businesses helping them grow and sustain growth. “On My Own is recognized around the area for its successful programs helping I/DD adults live independently, build positive social networks and give back to their communities. I am very excited to have this opportunity to work with the organization, and to become involved in OMO’s planning and programs,” said Silk.
