On My Own of Michigan Names New Officers and Members to Board

TROY, Mich. - Oct. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- On My Own of Michigan, (OMO), The On My Own of Michigan program was launched in 1997 by concerned parents who wanted to encourage and enhance the socialization and independent living dreams of their adult children with intellectual developmental disabilities (I/DD).

On My Own is led by a committed Board of Trustees who is pleased to announce its new leadership team for 2015-2016.  Kevin Barlow and Kathleen Tillson will serve as Co-Presidents, Richard Baker will continue as Treasurer and Andrea DeFrain will serve as Board Secretary.

Additionally, the board welcomes the return of Tom Welbourn of USI Insurance Services after a two-year hiatus and the new appointment of Patrick McFawn, President of McFawn Financial Services Group in Troy.

Bruce Benson, Executive Director of On My Own, shared, “The new appointments to the On My Own Board of Trustees represents the continued development of a talented and dedicated board and the new leadership team is poised to guide the organization to the next level of program success.”
