“Life’s a Beach” is the theme for On My Own of Michigan’s 18th Annual Gala Fundraiser. The event will be beautifully decorated with an island theme complete with delicious food and dessert stations from area restaurants, cocktails and other refreshments, raffles, and auctions…and of course, dancing with a live band. Special Event Manager, Lesley Scharfenberg says “Erhard BMW has been supporting our organization for years by donating their facility for our event. Their facility and their staff is second to none. Their generosity has enabled us to increase our profits each year allowing us to serve our members to the best of our ability.” “On My Own of Michigan, Inc. is a unique organization serving adults with intellectual developmental disabilities. We work with our members helping them to learn the skills to live independently, build lasting friendships and become active, contributing members of the community.” said Bruce Benson, Executive Director of On My Own.
