Texas Chef Deb Cantrell Named Personal Chef of the Year
Chef Deb Cantrell, owner and operator of Savor Culinary Services headquartered in Dallas, TX, was honored as Personal Chef of the Year during the 2015 United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA) National Conference in San Antonio, TX, on July 25
Chef Deb has been a member of the United States Personal Chef Association since she started her personal chef business in 2003 and has been a Certified Personal Chef since 2005. In addition to her Personal Chef Service, Chef Deb has worked closely with members of the United States Personal Chef Association providing members with a highly customized chef mentoring program. She was a keynote speaker at the 2014 Personal Chef Conference in Long Beach, California and has been a frequent speaker at prior conferences.
The Chef of the Year must be nominated by a fellow member of the USPCA. Criteria for this award innovations in their business, community outreach, mentoring or volunteer work, and success in the personal chef field. “The USPCA has been instrumental in every step of the way,” said Chef Cantrell. “The community of chefs that are a part of it have been instrumental to my growth in business, but the life-long friends I have made as a result are invaluable. Judges for this annual competition consisted of professional members within the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA). The award was presented at the USPCA’s National Personal Chef Conference in San Antonio, Texas, on July 25. The conference drew personal chefs from throughout North America.
