New application makes your SharePoint site an excellent tool for Issue Tracking and User Support

HelpDesk for Outlook and SharePoint is totally web based, but note that this is not an ordinary web based helpdesk but a helpdesk based on SharePoint, which is an environment that Microsoft is favoring strongly. This makes the application safe for the future, and users get a lot of features and possibilities. The possibilities to customize the solutions are endless, and there are no problems using multiple helpdesks.
HelpDesk for Outlook and SharePoint has three parts: an Outlook add-on that is installed on every helpdesk worker’s client machine, a report generator and a SharePoint template. E-mails are converted into tickets in Outlook, manually or automatically, and they are then stored and organized at the SharePoint site. A Settings form in Outlook handles the connection between Outlook and SharePoint.
During the beta period kalmstrom.com Outlook Solutions gives a discount on the purchase price, but only minor issues are expected to surface, since HelpDesk for Outlook and SharePoint is already thoroughly tested.
