Rapper, songwriter, activist, & entrepreneur J Lyric releases visuals to new single

In "Justice", J Lyric brings to light a plethora of social ills, particularly focusing on those adversely affecting African-Americans.
NEW ORLEANS - Sept. 27, 2016 - PRLog -- Inspired by recent events, including the stand taken by NFL great Colin Kaepernick, the video for the song "Justice" depicts images of recent killings at the hands of police officers, police brutality, and various forces unifying to bring an end to the injustices experienced on a regular basis in the United States.

In J Lyric's usual fashion, "Justice" is thought provoking, raising your consciousness to a whole other level. The video for "Justice" is available for viewing on You Tube, with the song available for streaming on Soundcloud. The artwork for "Justice" itself is compelling, in that it evokes images of the belief that justice is supposed to be blind – colorblind – but anyone in the know is fully aware that nothing could be further from the truth. When asked what prompted the creation of the song, J Lyric said, "I decided to write a song about the recent unfortunate events because it seems like whenever we make one step forward as a country, we end up taking ten steps back. I wanted to show unity to let the world know that we DO love America. That's why we criticize it – because we want to see a better America." J Lyric fully understands the fact that entertainers must use their celebrity to bring awareness and positive change and with the release of this song, he is doing just that.
