Buckhead Young Republicans Confirm Andrew O’Shea as Finance Director

ATLANTA - Jan. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- During its December 15, 2015 chapter meeting the Buckhead Young Republicans confirmed Andrew O’Shea as Finance Director. Andrew is the President & Founder at The Grand Public Affairs Consulting, LLC. He previously was the Legislative Liaison for Georgia Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle.

In this role Andrew will serve on BYR’s executive board. His responsibilities will include fundraising for BYR, providing chapter event strategy, and assisting with securing political speakers for chapter meetings.

Keith Hanks, Chairman of BYR comments, “Andrew helps strategically build out BYR’s 2015-2016 vision. He is well respected in the political space and can leverage his experiences to provide greater access to speakers and club sponsors. His addition to BYR’s executive board will help BYR maintain its position as the fastest growing YR club in Georgia.”

Andrew O’Shea, Finance Director of BYR adds, “The Buckhead Young Republicans are a model for other YR clubs to follow. They represent the voice of millennials and are able to bring together business and elected officials in a room to have discussions that organizations with 100x their budget cannot accomplish. In my role as Finance Director I hope to provide BYR with funding streams to allow the chapter to extend its reach with young professionals and ensure their voice continues to be represented in metro Atlanta and throughout Georgia.”

BYR’s next chapter meeting is on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Whitehall Tavern. The topic will focus around a legislative preview of what topics to expect during the 40-day legislative session.
