Buckhead Young Republicans and GBCC Cohost GOP Debate Watch Party

ATLANTA - Dec. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- The Buckhead Young Republicans (BYR) partnered with the Georgia Black Conservative Caucus (GBCC) during BYR’s December Chapter Meeting on Tuesday, December 21, 2015. The meeting was held at Whitehall Tavern in Buckhead. The Carly for America Georgia campaign team staffed a volunteer sign up table and sponsored appetizers for the event. Leo Smith of the Georgia Republican Party was also in attendance.

Travis Stegall, GBCC State Chairman and Keith Hanks, BYR Chairman moderated a Frank Luntz inspired focus group with attendees prior to the debate airing on CNN. Guests were asked to voice their opinion and discuss as group topics that included the following:

- “Who is decided on a candidate already?” Which candidate and why?

- “Who is leaning on a candidate or candidates?”

- “What’s been the biggest surprise of 2016?”

“Tuesday night was the finest example of both conservative groups working together to move our party forward. Hopefully we've set a new standard.” commented Travis Stegall, GBCC State Chairman.

Keith Hanks, Chairman of BYR adds, “Collaborating with Travis Stegall and Simone Perry of GBCC was fun night. This was the first time we’ve attempted a Frank Luntz inspired focus group. Guests enjoyed the discussion format, conversation was lively, and it was refreshing to hear both a spectrum of opinions and unity among young people in Georgia.”
