Louisiana Speech Language Pathologists Continuing Education and License Renewals

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - May 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Louisiana-licensed speech language pathologists have an annual license renewal with a June 30th deadline. Ten (10) hours of continuing education hours are required in order to renew a license. All ten hours are allowed from home study if ASHA approved.

The main purpose of continuing education is to assure the highest possible standards for the speech language pathologists profession. All licensees are required as a condition of licensure to participate in continuing education.

Professional Development Resources (https://www.pdresources.org/profession/index/3) is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology.
