TOUR Academy to Open New West Coast Location

Feb. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (February 27, 2012): The TOUR Academy has announced the opening of its newest location at the famed La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.  

The La Costa Resort, Southern California’s only Gold Medal Golf Resort, marks the fourth West Coast TOUR Academy location and is set to open Monday, Feb. 27.

The TOUR Academy features a variety of offerings for all age ranges and skill levels. These include private golf lessons, group clinics, specialty golf offerings and much more. The TOUR Academy also offers golf school programs which include both accommodations and commuter options as well. These school courses consist of two-day, three-day or five-day options and include instruction in the morning followed by lunch and a round of golf at the renowned La Costa Resort courses.

The TOUR Academy will host summer junior camp programs at La Costa which will include overnight, full-day and half-day programs open to juniors 7-17 years of age and of all ability levels, as well as elite player camps for advanced junior golfers. Camp curriculum includes the full swing mechanics, short game and strategies pertaining to the mental aspects of the game. The camp curriculum will include review of golf terminology, golf etiquette and overall sportsmanship.
