Billie Redmond Serves As An Emcee At The 2012 NC CEO Forum

Redmond spoke along with Diane Adams, vice president of culture and talent at Allscripts. The annual forum is an event for executives and management teams in business, government and non-profit organizations who are dedicated to helping North Carolina grow jobs and build its presence on the national and international scene.

This year’s forum featured legendary retired CEO and chairman of General Electric, Jack Welch as the event’s keynote speaker. Welch is the author of the No. 1 Wall Street Journal and international bestseller, “Jack: Straight from the Gut.” Attendees also heard from title sponsor speakers from M*Modal, PNC Bank, Extreme Networks, Allscripts and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. The program offered attendees the opportunity to gain insight, develop relationships, and participate in discussions with other business leaders. In addition to the featured speakers, the event included panel discussions, a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream social, meals, and a closing wine and beer networking reception. The event focused on giving back to the community by donating profits to and hosting a raffle and live auction to benefit Make a Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina and North Carolina Arts in Action.
