“Kaitlin McNeish, a senior, said that she discovered bites on her arms and legs.  It turned out that the bedbugs were hiding inside her roommate's mattress.

"My poor roommate has been scratching quite a bit," McNeish said.  "She's pretty much been eaten alive."

A heat treatment was scheduled for Monday, taking the temperature up to 140 degrees inside the dorm to kill the bugs, 10TV's Chuck Strickler reported.

"Much worse things could have happened," McNeish said.  "It's just a bump in the road and I hope that other universities are just as prepared as our university is."

“Four other bedbug instances were reported at Ohio Dominican since last fall, Strickler reported.”
