Imagine Prep Student Named Caa Volleyball Player Of The Year

Nov. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Surprise, Arizona—Saturday, October 30th Asha Hart an eighth grade student attending Imagine Prep at Surprise was named “Player of the Year,” by the Charter Athletic Association (CAA) for junior high volleyball.

“Asha is an amazing student both on and off the court,” said John Buzzard, Principal at Imagine Prep at Surprise. “She maintains an excellent grade point average, serves as a leader on our campus, and I understand that she has been accepted as a student ambassador with People to People which includes an opportunity to travel to Europe next summer.”

Hart was named CAA Junior High Volleyball  “Player of the Year” immediately following the State “All Star” Championship game. The Southwest State Team of which Hart was a member earned second place honors after going to game three.  
Kenneth Wolford, Imagine Prep at Surprise volleyball coach added, “Asha is a pleasure to coach.  She is a gifted athlete, an amazing student, and a great leader.  I am excited to watch her develop as a player when she joins Imagine Prep’s varsity team next year.”
