National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education Names Circadence's Bradley Wolfenden as New Co-Chair

BOULDER, Colo. - April 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Bradley Wolfenden, Director of Cyber Academic Partnerships at Circadence (https://www.circadence.com/)® Corporation in Boulder, Colorado, will begin his tenure as the new co-chair for the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Competitions Subgroup in April, 2019.

Wolfenden fosters partnerships among industry-academia-government organizations to create academic programs that produce well-qualified cyber talent. Leveraging Project Ares®, Circadence's gamified cyber learning platform, Wolfenden has built K-12, HigherEd, and technical schools/alternative pathway programs to create learning solutions that compliment classroom theory with real-world, hands-on applications. Brad is dedicated to helping students apply their learned knowledge in the classroom to build skills and excel in competitive situations within the cybersecurity field.

In addition to Wolfenden's co-chair position with NICE and his work at Circadence, he is also a member of the NICE Collegiate and K12 Subgroups, and Microsoft's Education Partnership Advisory Council. 

Wolfenden, along with co-chair Dr. Amelia Phillips, will lead the NICE subgroup to promote a spectrum of cyber competitions for schools and employers that will help advance the knowledge, skills and abilities of the next generation of cyber professionals, and subsequently expand a diverse national talent pool in cybersecurity.
