DAV RecruitMilitary Colorado Springs Career Fair June 1

LOVELAND, Ohio - May 17, 2017 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce a Veterans Job Fair at the DoubleTree Hotel on June 1, 2017 for veterans, transitioning military personnel, National Guard members, Reserve members and military spouses.  The event is sponsored by USAA and will feature nearly 50 Colorado Springs-area exhibitors.

"Last year, 52% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview following a DAV RecruitMilitary job fair. Employers were expected to extend as many as 40,300 interviews and more than 12,560 job offers," said RecruitMilitary Senior Vice President of Sales Rob Arndt. "DAV RecruitMilitary job fairs offer the opportunity to meet a variety of veteran candidates face-to-face, assess their skills and even interview them on the spot for available positions."

Among the companies attending RecruitMilitary's Colorado Springs event are Colorado Springs Police Department, Department of Veteran Affairs, Farmers Insurance, First Command Financial Planning, GardaWorld, General Dynamics Corporation, Kohl's Corp., Lockheed Martin Corporation, Love's Travel Stops, Larry H. Miller Group of Automotive Companies, Schlumberger and Vinnell Arabia. In June of 2016, the DAV RecruitMilitary Colorado Springs event connected more than 346 veteran job seekers with 39 exhibitors including FedEx Ground, Lockheed Martin Corporation and The Home Depot.  Participating companies expected to conduct up to 357 interviews and make up to 107 job offers following that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has held three events in Colorado Springs, drawing 1,159 attendees and 106 exhibitors. RecruitMilitary has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country.
