Using Information Technology to Improve Parent-Teacher-Student Communication
EDTECH entrepreneur Özlem Turhan from Istanbul, Turkeys is interviewed by Hans-Peter Bech about the progress of her new business venture Classloom - a web-based collaboration platform for teachers, students and parents.
Classloom is like a closed version of Facebook for teachers, parents and students and provides convenient, effective and interactive ways for communication, information sharing and collaboration. You can access Classloom 24 hours a day on the internet and be notified by instant email or mobile app notification whenever there is an update.
"Most of the current Classloom users (62%) access the platform from their mobile devices, so we literally put the information on how they can support their children into parents’ hands", says Özlem Turhan. "I think this is amazing."
The interview is the first in a series of interviews that Hans-Peter Bech will make with entrepreneurs and other remarkable business developers around the world.
"Internet technology has enabled us to reach out to people all over the world at very little cost", says Hans-Peter Bech, author and economist with TBK Consult. "We will use this opportunity to give entrepreneurs and other remarkable business developers from all over the world an opportunity to get their messages out."
The interview is recorded using call recording on Skype, is post-produced with iMovie and will be published on the TBK Consult blog and on LinkedIn Pulse.
