World’s First Executive MBA in Product Leadership Batch Graduates

BANGALORE, India - Dec. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Bangalore, India, 02^nd December, 2015: Institute of Product Leadership (IPL), India’s first B-School for product professionals today announced that the 2015 batch of twenty six students achieved the honour of becoming the world’s first graduates in Product Leadership, under the banner of the Institute of Product Leadership and the Executive Education Department of CMR University.

Institute of Product Leadership is Asia’s first business school focused on Product Leadership and is dedicated to nurturing Product Leaders of the future. Rajiv Mody, the Chairman, Managing Director, and CEO of Sasken Communication Technologies handed over the degrees to students of the Executive MBA program in the presence of Dr. Anand K Joshi, Honourable Vice Chancellor of CMR University and Pinkesh Shah, Co-founder and Director of Programs at the Institute of Product Leadership.

In his convocation speech, Rajiv Mody congratulated the students for their great achievement and also for making an effort to transform their careers to stay competitive in the dynamic product industry. Mody reiterated that “Indian product engineering ecosystem needs some serious product leaders who can ideate, conceptualize and deliver global products.”

Executive MBA in Product Leadership is specially designed for senior product professionals to equip them for building an innovation to productizing it, in the context of both the global and emerging markets. The graduating batch of 26 students have an average corporate experience of 13 years and  are working for the world’s top Companies like Microsoft, HP, Mindtree, Cisco, Intel, Bosch, Infosys, IBM among others.

During the program these 26 students have developed 13 concrete and innovative business ideas, complete with business plans, identified customer segments and working prototypes. 58% of the class has made the career transformation by moving up within their companies, getting placed in top companies or starting their own ventures.
