One of the easiest and most rewarding ways to feel more grounded, peaceful, and joyous is to 'reboot' our routine by taking ourselves outside. The being outside in the fresh air is very healing to the mind, body, and spirit. Taking an hour or two out of your normal routine  can help put things in perspective, temporarily reduce blood pressure, and bring clarity to existing problems. Additionally, the dose of vitamin D from natural sunlight helps overall mood and mental outlook. Walking in the fall and winter time can bring more of this vital nutrient into your body, at a time when it is most needed.

Experts say that exercise can lift us out of the blahs and the blues.  Breath deeply and use your eyes to feast on the chnaging scenery.  Leave all those worries behind for a bit - they will be there when you get back, so you needn't bring them with you.

Taking a break from the routine to enjoy the chnaging weather  can work wonders on mental and physical health.
