A Loyalty Card’s Adopt-a-Vet Program Puts Veterans To Work The Right Way

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - July 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Inspired by the First Family and Vice President Biden, A Loyalty Card has embarked upon an exciting new venture to return more veterans to the workplace.

Most veterans lack the skills necessary to put them into productive work without specialized training.  At the same time, there exists a growing need for well trained and qualified sales persons in the private sector.

A Loyalty Card has created a program that can solve both problems.  ALC has committed to training interested and motivated veterans in the art of direct sales. Upon completion of their training, the vets will have a well paying sales position waiting for them with the company.  To this end, ALC has launched a funding campaign via Indiegogo at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/adopt-a-vet/.  The funding will be used to offset the cost of training and enable the company to provide a living wage to the vets for the duration of their training period.

Sales positions are traditionally paid on a commission-only basis.  All too often, individuals who begin a sales career without adequate training loose heart and quit before they can become successful.  ALC intends to short circuit this pattern by providing veterans with a paid apprenticeship in the field of sales.  Upon graduation, these veterans will be stepping into a profession that they have become familiar with and will have the tools necessary to not only survive but thrive in society.
