A New "Hot Dish" Arrives in Scottsdale

PHOENIX - Sept. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- There is a new food blog on the block and she’s a real “hot dish.” Created by Susan Schmitz and Cassie Madden of Photo Fusion Studio in Scottsdale, www.HotDishAz.com features reviews and delectable culinary photography of best-selling regular and vegetarian menu items. For South Scottsdale and Arcadia restaurants, the blog will also offer the chance to get complimentary high-quality photographs of their signature dishes and online exposure to Phoenician “foodies” everywhere.

Area Restaurants can sign up for their photo session by emailing info@photofusionstudio.com or by calling (480) 237-9933, ext. 1. To participate, interested parties must forward a snapshot of their most popular regular and vegetarian dish, include a contact name and number, and be willing to prepare the selected items for Schmitz and Madden to photograph, savor and review.

Susan, a ”wanna be" vegetarian and owner of Photo Fusion Studio, and her assistant, Cassie, an avid meat lover, cooked up the blog idea due to their shared passion for photography and great food.  “We wanted to serve up the juicy details and images of these experiences so that others will want to try these dishes—and let us know what THEY think.  We also hope this brings more awareness to the amazing restaurant options we have in the Valley.”

Schmitz’s professional culinary photography has been featured in Arizona Foothills Magazine, Desert Living Today and Green Living Magazine, among others.  In 2010 and 2012, her pet photography division, “A Dogs Life Photo,” was voted “Best in the Valley” by Phoenix the Magazine.
