L-Tron Websites Rank in Rochester's Top Three

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - March 21, 2013 - PRLog -- L-Tron Corporation was recognized as a finalist in two categories at the 2013 Best of the Web Awards, hosted by the Rochester Business Journal (RBJ).  With over 200 websites submitted to the RBJ for consideration, L-Tron Corporation was honored to be named as a finalist for both of its websites, www.L-Tron.com and www.L-TronDirect.com.  The Best of the Web Award breakfast occurred on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside in Rochester, New York.

L-Tron Corporation was a top three finalist in the Best of the Web Business and Professional Services category for its web store, http://www.L-TronDirect.com.  Website evaluation was conducted by a panel of six judges and was based on navigability, usability, functionality, content, visual design, standards compliance and use of social media. Award judges praised L-TronDirect for its “well-organized content structure and accessible menu navigation,” as well as its “powerful search functionality and live online support,” and “very active blog.”

L-Tron’s corporate website, http://www.L-Tron.com was selected as a finalist for the Digital Rochester Transformation Award, finishing in the top three out of more than forty websites.  The criteria for this award included business success gained by using the Web for strategic growth, harnessing cutting edge technology in website launches, mastering unique Web functionality and significantly impacting their organization through the exploration of online technologies.
