Follow on Google News | 211 Community Impact Moves for the City!211 Community Impact Announces the Fundraising Event for “Move for the City”in Support of the 211 Ci Launch and “Reading is for Life”
March 21, 2013 at Newark Museum. 211 Ci is a part of the organization of Community Impact's "Reading is for Life” initiative. The organization is a Newark, NJ city wide campaign which raises questions about the city’s literacy levels and communicates academic standards for school age children. There are three components of the initiative used to educate the community;the “Reading is for Life Coalition, Parent and Community Common Core Content Standards Resources, and Community Literacy Events. The first annual event, “Move for the City” is to raise funds to educate the Newark community and to reach out to those with literacy needs. "We are ecstatic about this opportunity to give back and help our community.
