"It's an extremely rewarding process to organize a gathering for our Black community in Louisville and create a platform to support Black owned businesses in honor of Juneteenth. This holiday is extremely important for our community and our healing, and this festival is a chance for us as Black people to invest in each other's restoration and show up for each other." -- Aaron Jordan, Founder of Black Complex Louisville

"Juneteenth means so much to this country as we look to heal our wounds from slavery and free ourselves individually and collectively. GEDDI is so proud to provide support for this Juneteenth Festival. As a National and International member of GEDDI and as an African American woman, I am so happy to provide local support and healing to the Louisville community." -- Cordelia Donovan, GEDDI Member
