Richmond, VA – GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) welcomes Director of Engineering Mark C. Burris, P.E. to its Richmond, Va. office as part of the Transportation Business Unit. Mr. Burris brings over 29 years of engineering experience with civil, roadway, drainage, and structural design projects. Mark served as Project Manager on numerous Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) projects over the past 18 years, including the Jamestown Corridor Improvements PPTA Project in Williamsburg and Jamestown, VA; the I-81 Widening Project in Rockbridge County, VA; and the Route 58 arterial widening project in Grayson County, VA.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University, and is a registered professional engineer.
