Aug. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Rob Barth is a visual artist and graphic designer living and working in northern New Jersey. He is currently working on a series of paintings, prints, and installations that draw on his background as a designer and graphic communicator.

Recent exhibitions include disconnected at 14 Maple in Morristown, NJ, and Art Cycle at Index Art Center in Newark. His most recent exhibition at Speakeasy Art was in the group show 2x2 in May, 2012. Just prior to these shows, he exhibited three installations in the group show Water, Water, Anywhere at the Therese A. Maloney Art Gallery, College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey, followed by the group shows Humor In Art at the Watchung Arts Center and Heavenly Bodies at Skyclad Gallery in Boonton.

Branches is a collection of paintings, prints and mixed media works that are connected in various ways. All of the pieces were inspired by the same environments, circumstances, and reference materials. Most were executed during the same general time frame, primarily in the weeks leading up to the show. Many contain shared and/or repeating imagery. The theme Branches refers to these interconnections, and to the fact that these pieces have all emerged from a common source.
