| Campbell Law School, Wake County Bar Association Launch Student Membership ProgramPartnership Allows Networking Opportunities For Law Students With Association Members
With this partnership, student members will have access to continuing legal education events (CLEs), the annual family picnic, and all breakfast meetings. They will receive the WCBA Bar Flyer throughout the year and be eligible for WCBA deals with local vendors. Student members will be able to participate in golf and tennis tournaments at cost, as well as bowling, softball, and basketball leagues. The WCBA will create non-voting positions to allow for student members to serve on several committees as well. Membership in the WCBA will require students an annual $25 fee. Law students that hold memberships in the WCBA during all three years of law school will receive a 25 percent discount on WCBA membership for their first two years as a practicing attorney immediately following graduation. The program is open to all law students that either reside in Wake County or attend an ABA-accredited law school located in Wake County.
