Aurion Learning & FPA Shortlisted For 2012 PEER Awards

April 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Aurion Learning and the sexual health charity FPA are proud to announce that their innovative ‘All About Us’ interactive CD-ROM and DVD-ROM has been short-listed for a 2012 Peer Award. Aurion Learning and FPA worked together to create this unique learning resource, designed to be fun and easy to use.
All About Us aims to help the personal development and knowledge of people with learning disabilities around sex, sexuality and relationships. It provides a self-study learning tool that can be used by someone with learning disabilities on their own, or with support, to introduce key issues including understanding emotions, keeping safe, what it means to become an adult, and appropriate behaviour in public and private spaces.
All About Us complements the delivery of sex and relationships education in the home, school, and other learning environments. It comes with British sign language interpreter option. All About Us costs £19.99 and is available from the FPA online shop at www.fpa.org.uk
