DCG appraises CCH Small Firm Services, a Wolters Kluwer company, at CMMI ML 2

Dec. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- The designation was awarded to CCH Small Firm Services for its development work on TaxWise software and the firm’s associated Electronic Filing Center after a formal appraisal concluded in October. The appraisal was conducted by a DCG SEI-certified Lead Appraiser.

The CMMI ML2 rating was awarded after extensive review and analysis of the software development and management processes used by CCH Small Firm Services.  In 2011, the company was the largest professional processor of Modernized e-File (MeF) returns, making the certification awarded to TaxWise and the Electronic Filing Center more significant.

As a result of CMMI ML2 award, DCG's client has improved their processes in order to satisfy the requirements of the multi-million dollar contract between the IRS and CCH Small Firm Services.  The client has also gained more control of their internal processes and improved the quality of CCH Small Firm Services' products for their customers.
