Jeff Fehrman Joins Board of Governors of Organization of Legal Professionals

Dec. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- The Organization of Legal Professionals, an industry group that includes some of the most respected eDiscovery thought leaders in the field, announced today that Jeffrey Fehrman has been named a member of its Board of Governors.

As a member of the Board of Governors, Fehrman assists the organization with its initiatives to promote excellence and accountability among legal services providers. Because of his background and experience, Fehrman is ideally situated to provide advice to further the organization’s initial goal: to establish e-discovery standards and certifications for e-discovery providers.

Fehrman is the Vice President of Forensics & Consulting at Integreon. With more than 14 years in the electronic evidence and information technology fields, Mr. Fehrman specializes in providing consulting and advisory services to law firms, corporations, and government clients throughout the e-discovery lifecycle. Fehrman has lead numerous investigations in areas ranging from theft of IP, web defacement, Foreign Corrupt Practice Act (FCPA), SEC Investigations, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, and many other areas.  

Mr. Fehrman is a subject matter expert on electronic evidence and frequently speaks on innovations and obstacles facing corporations and law firms today.  He has developed accredited courses approved by the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) boards in the States of California, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, and Georgia, and has trained hundreds of attorneys in the technical aspects of digital  forensics and electronic discovery.  He’s been an active member in the Sedona Conference’s Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production (WG1) since 2006 and is also the co-founder of EDD Blog Online.

This year, OLP entered launched it eDiscovery certification exam together with Pearson Learning Solutions, a $7 billion corporation specializing in certification exams. It is launching its second certification exam in Litigation Support, Summer, 2012. OLP  developed the first comprehensive continuing legal education online eDiscovery and litigation support courses. The association also launched a wide-ranging Litigation Support Salary & Utilization Survey, the first of its kind.
