ROB's Running Dinners prove a great success

Feb. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Since December 2010, Restaurantsofbangkok.com (ROB) organizes Running Dinners that take groups of up to 20 diners to three different restaurants in one night, having the first restaurant serve the starter, the second main course and the third dessert.

The Running Dinner in January was held on Sukhumvit soi 20 with the German restaurant Bei Otto serving the starter, KOI's new outlet Livingroom serving main course and the long established Swiss restaurant Chesa taking care of dessert. In contrast to the first Running Dinner, this time the distance between courses was short enough to be able to walk, which many diners liked.

Running Dinners are getting quite popular with Bangkok's dining community which became apparent when all tickets for the February Running Dinner on Thonglor were sold within a matter of hours on Tuesday February 2.

February's Running Dinner will start at Serenade, a new and already popular restaurant in the Grass Mall on Thonglor. Following the starter, the main course is scheduled at 4 Garcons, a newly established French restaurant on Thonglor 17, and hot chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream is served for dessert at Tessa on Thonglor 23.

A van has been hired to take diners from one course to the next, but since all restaurants are close to each other the transfer time will be short.

The Running Dinner for March will be held on the 22nd of that month. The full program and tickets will be made available in ROB's newsletter on March 1.
