Running Dinners by ROB

Dec. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- A Running Dinner takes a group of up to 15 diners to three restaurants in one night having the first restaurant serve the starter, the second the main course and the third restaurant dessert with wine included for all three courses.

The first Running Dinner took place on December 14, 2010 in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok with French restaurant Le Jardin on Thonglor 11 serving the aperitif and starter. After that all diners were taken to the main course at Italian restaurant Giusto on Sukhumvit 23 by van from where the group was driven to Mediterranean restaurant Be Your Guest on Sukhumvit 53 for the dessert. The event was a huge success with all diners having a great time.

The idea behind the Running Dinner is twofold. People get a chance to wine and dine at places they haven't been before and wouldn't normally go to on their own account and restaurants get to show case their best dishes to a new group of diners who may return to the restaurant and share their experience with their friends both in person and on the Internet.

A Running Dinner can be attended for between 1,000 -1,500 baht per person depending on the level of the restaurants involved. This price includes all food, wine and transportation between restaurants.
