Nov. 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Infosys BPO, a leading third party offshore provider with established expertise across different areas in banking, mortgage and capital markets has achieved Organization-wide compliance with the Payment Card Industry - Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Version 1.2.1.
The onsite security assessment was conducted by the Asia’s largest Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) –SISA Information Security. On this occasion Srikant Balan, Head of Risk Management at Infosys BPO. “The PCI DSS certification is a natural outcome of having systematic procedures that promote high level security and ensuring compliance for all clients. SISA’s professional and structured approach helped in achieving the certification in a quick time”. He also added, “Infosys BPO is proud to be among a handful of global organizations to achieve a PCI-DSS certification.” Chief Consultant, Dharshan Shanthamurthy (SISA) said, “its a significant accomplishment for Infosys BPO since it’s an organization-wide PCI Compliance vis-à-vis a specific customer account PCI Compliance which is relatively easier to accomplish.  We believe SISA’s unique ‘three in the box’ methodology also helps organizations to meet the stringency of the PCI DSS standard in a structured manner as in the case of Infosys BPO”.
