Neighbors in a small Louisiana town where race mixing is still considered taboo, the African American Trey and Caucasian Tessa can’t fight their growing feelings for one another, and after finally yielding to their shared passion – Tessa ends up pregnant. Normally a blessed event, her pregnancy only causes Tessa pain because she knows all too well how her hardcore racist of a father feels about Blacks in general...so, in the end, the question becomes: just what kind of sacrifices are she and Trey willing to make in the name of love...?
