Convention Speakers Offer Insights into Navigating Life with Twins, Triplets, or More

By: Multiples of America

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - May 1, 2025 - PRLog -- Multiples of America's annual convention will bring together experts to address the unique aspects of navigating day-to-day life challenges as a parent of twins, triplets, or more. Attendees will be able to learn from a psychologist who specializes in counseling twins, nationally known researchers who base their studies around twins, and an author, army veteran, and parent of twins who lives the journey each day. But that's not all – convention attendees will also hear from a panel of parents and multiples about their personal battles with mental health.

The annual convention, to be held in Tucson, AZ, will be the 64th annual gathering for members of Multiples of America. Attendees from across the nation will converge July 24-26 for learning, networking, and completing the business of the organization.

Specific presenters at the convention include these and others:
  • Keynote speaker Natassia Williamson will share a humorous, yet heartfelt, look at parenting multiples across all stages, "From Sleepless Nights to Self-Rediscovery." Williamson is an army veteran, certified health coach, author, business owner, and mother of three, including twins.
  • Margot Lewis, an identical twin, will offer strategies and tips for "Improving Communication and Resolving Conflicts within Families." Lewis is a licensed psychologist, board certified in neurofeedback, who has researched twin relationships and now focuses much of her work on helping multiples.
  • Researchers from the Arizona Twin Project, an ongoing, longitudinal research study conducted through Arizona State University, will offer details about the study and some of its findings. This project examines the development of resilience to common mental and physical health problems during infancy and childhood.
  • Parents and multiples who have experienced mental health challenges will share their stories as part of a Mental Health Family Awareness Panel. Along with those personal stories, the panel will feature a question-and-answer session and information on resources.
Networking opportunities will complement these presentations with attendees gathering together to discuss ways to build membership and volunteerism in their local chapters. And several events will focus on fun, including a game of "Multiples Feud."
