Now 18 years later, the fund has grown sufficiently that the interest earned on the savings can be used to help local chapters in growing their mission. A grant competition was launched earlier this Spring with that intent. Chapters are completing applications for projects focused on creating marketing materials, building resources for moms on bedrest, completing website updates, and more. One application will be selected for funding from among those dreams. That winner will be announced at Multiples of America's annual convention July 24-26 in Tucson, AZ, and earn the distinction of being the recipient of the organization's first EDGE grant. That will be a memorable moment for the entire organization, according to Stephany Ireland, EDGE Chair. "The launch of the EDGE Endowment Grant represents a meaningful milestone in our organization's history," Ireland noted. "It reflects a long-term commitment to sustainability and growth, while also enabling us to support the vital, day-to-day work of our clubs. It is especially gratifying to know that this fund will help bring to life the aspirations of those serving families of multiples across the country."
