SWENSON unveils plans for a new mixed-use tower in downtown San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. - July 26, 2021 - PRLog -- SWENSON, a prominent Northern California real estate development company, announced it has submitted preliminary plans for a mixed-use project located at 98 South Second Street, on the corner of South Second Street and East San Fernando. The previous location of the Lawrence Hotel building and the popular drinking establishment Cinebar was severely damaged in a fire in January 2021. Current plans include demolition of the existing structures, while preserving much of the façade, and constructing a 25-story residential high-rise with 339 housing units above 5,000 square feet of commercial retail space.

The new tower will also feature a large rooftop complete with pool, spa, cabanas, and a lounge area with fire pit.    SWENSON will be utilizing Landmaker (https://swensonbuilders.com/landmaker), their innovative patented building system, to achieve extremely high structural integrity and maximize cost effectiveness.
