Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley appoints Lynn DeVaughn, Audit Partner at KPMG, to its Board

SAN JOSE, Calif. - July 30, 2025 - PRLog -- Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley (BGCSV), a nonprofit youth services group providing after-school voluntary activities for young people through clubhouses across the valley, announced the appointment of Lynn DeVaughn to its board of directors. DeVaughn is an Audit Partner at KPMG LLP (KPMG).

A graduate of Santa Clara University, DeVaughn spent the last 30-plus years in Silicon Valley working at KPMG and raising her family. Her experience as a KPMG partner includes project management, strategy and client service, and national roles, coupled with her past service with other local organizations.

"I wanted to become a Board Member of the BGCSV because over the duration of the time I have spent here in the Valley, I have seen the ebbs and flows of access, financial support and skill development of the youth in our community. I have also seen the work the BGCSV, especially recently, are doing to reach the youth and help them on the best path to success," said DeVaughn. "I am honored to have been selected to serve on this Board and am excited to help progress the leadership team's strategy and vision."
