Veracity Protocol Selected into Starburst Aerospace Accelerator 2020
After a competitive online pitch competition against global startups, security-tech startup Veracity Protocol was selected to participate in Startburst's prestigious accelerator program.
Veracity Protocol and Starburst 2020
In addition to being one of the ten accepted, Veracity Protocol scored among the highest total points. The selection process is based on a scale of competitive metrics such as innovation, market accessibility, team experience and strength, and financial feasibility and credibility. To be considered, startups must already have a first working prototype or product, raised their seed round, and proposed innovative products and technologies related to the industry.
Insights directly from the Veracity Protocol team about their stance and future vision:
"During the final selection round, there were impressive startups focused on 3D printing, robotics, magnetic resonance imaging, nanosatellites, autonomous drones, and hyper-fusion reactors. We knew we were in good company. This is a gateway to the future, and we have an incredible opportunity to be involved with such a high caliber, innovative program." – Jakub Krcmar, CEO & co-founder of VP
"We're highly motivated to use AI to solve real global problems across sectors. It's possible that Veracity Protocol will soon eliminate the GS1/barcode standard to trace physical items. However, our technology was built to protect people. If we can save even one human life, our mission is accomplished."
"Our vision is to protect people, brands, and national security. At the same time, we're thinking about questions that have no clear answers yet, for example – how will the quality, authenticity, and integrity of billions of products in the future (in a decentralized world) be guaranteed? We want to be able to provide answers to these questions." – Roman Komarek, COO & founder of VP
