Saturday August 17, 2019 Imagination Lunchbox Intern Children's Film Fest Returns, By Request

The 3rd annual ILICFF Returns to Baltimore at the Eubie Blake Center hosted by Multi-Award Winning Filmmaker Anthony Michael Hobbs
 
BALTIMORE - July 29, 2019 - PRLog -- The 3rd annual Imagination Lunchbox International Children's Film Festival (ILICFF) that recently screened short films made by kids and for kids from around the world returns to Baltimore Saturday August 17, 2019 from 3 – 5pm at the Eubie Blake Cultural Center (847 N. Howard Street, 21201). ILICFF recently opened 2019 at the Shake and Bake Family Fun Center and ended several days of activities at Our Lady of Victory (OLV) Catholic School of Baltimore hosted by radio personality Doresa Harvey (Radio One's Magic 95.9FM). It award filmmakers with the "Film Festival Choice Award," the "Best Film Made For Kids Award," the "Most Uplifting Film Award" and the "Best Film Made By Kids Award".  Those winning short films and over 12 others will be screened again – admission is free.

The ILICFF founder, multi-award winning actor/filmmaker Anthony Michael Hobbs, will host the event. Hobbs is quoted as saying that he started the Imagination Lunchbox International Children's Film Festival because he wanted to inspire youth like himself to work towards their dreams as he has done. As an actor Anthony Michael has garnered over eight awards for his skills that can be seen in such projects as the PBS Mini-Series "The American Experience: The Abolitionist" (http://video.pbs.org/video/2321796209) as a young Frederick Douglas, for which he attended the 2013 Emmy Awards as a PBS representative. He also starred in the DreamWorks documentary "How to Train Your Dragon: Dragons and Dinosaurs" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bekKOmfsWfc). Also a model Anthony Michael has worked on the national campaigns for Finish Line Athletics (in-store and catalogue), Villa Sportswear and ToysRUs. He has starred in commercials and television segments for Comcast Xfinity, Sprout Network, United Way and Claritin Kids Allergy.



He has garnered over 12 awards from around the world for this film projects (One Nation, Naga Pixie and Agent Hollywood) where he starred, directed, wrote and produced the projects. On Saturday and Sunday November 23 & 24, 2019, in partnership with the Eubie Blake Cultural Center and The Baltimore Times Foundation, Times Community Services, Inc., Hobbs will host the "ILICFF / Eubie Blake Filmmaking Workshops for Youth" where attendees will share in the creative credits for a short film project made during the workshops.
