The ILICFF founder, multi-award winning actor/filmmaker Anthony Michael Hobbs, will host the event. Hobbs is quoted as saying that he started the Imagination Lunchbox International Children's Film Festival because he wanted to inspire youth like himself to work towards their dreams as he has done. As an actor Anthony Michael has garnered over eight awards for his skills that can be seen in such projects as the PBS Mini-Series "The American Experience: The Abolitionist" He has garnered over 12 awards from around the world for this film projects (One Nation, Naga Pixie and Agent Hollywood) where he starred, directed, wrote and produced the projects. On Saturday and Sunday November 23 & 24, 2019, in partnership with the Eubie Blake Cultural Center and The Baltimore Times Foundation, Times Community Services, Inc., Hobbs will host the "ILICFF / Eubie Blake Filmmaking Workshops for Youth" where attendees will share in the creative credits for a short film project made during the workshops.
