-- Life is made exciting when there is motion, especially when it's an amalgamation of emotions, personalities, arts, ideas, and a variety of skills to flesh it out beautifully. And one's childhood often starts with a simple cartoon show on television to feel that excitement. That simple, attractive cartoon is the handiwork of a number of creative people called animators. The International Animation Day on October 28th further accentuates the love for animation.
This art form is being hailed and pursued in over 50 countries, including India. It is no doubt that animation has spread its wings across 2D & 3D animation on platforms like motion pictures (movies), video games, advertisement & marketing, web designing, and comics. It encompasses skills of drawing, modeling, graphics designing, technology, characterization, voice modulation, and soundtrack. And it draws inspiration from and hones creative, artistic, innovative, imaginative, and technical abilities.
For a layperson, animation can be viewed through the prototype of a flipbook or a flick book – something that everybody would have experimented with and enjoyed. Well, animation took that to greater heights. Animation is culturally diverse and functions well with little or no language. Using just the visual modes and complementary soundtracks & voice modulation, you can connect with an audience from varied nationalities, age groups, lingual abilities, and even mental capabilities.
Over the century, countless animated works have flooded the world with its magic and shimmer. The increase in technological growth and a greater exposure and experimentation with the field has led to much scope and demand for Animation worldwide and in India. With the increase of aspirants, a course in Animation is now made more available and affordable, edging out its former status as a niche discipline.
The programs in Animation with International Moving Image Society, UK offered at Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore molds driven and passionate to-be-animators to literally animate their ideas and perceptions. Equipped with all the basics and more - their own in-house animation studio – the students are suffused with hands-on assignments, workshops, and industry interaction. To access much more into the media and entertainment sector, the University has also partnered with Arena Animation for integrated courses. All it takes for an animator to come alive is a creative vigor and enthusiasm that snuff out his/her stagnation. The unexplored world of animation is yet to be untapped waiting for more of master key animators to rouse.https://www.jainuniversity.ac.in/B.Sc-Animation-Colleges-...
