'Serenity - 2018' November 2 through November 25 at Richard Boyd Art Gallery

PORTLAND, Maine - Sept. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- With so much happening during the month of November, elections, holiday gatherings, and the ever growing to do list, it's easy to become overwhelmed.

Take a break, come into Richard Boyd Art Gallery for a little Serenity. This annual exhibition features over twenty original paintings in a broad range of mediums and styles that evoke feelings of tranquility or calmness in the viewer. Comprised of paintings from multiple genres including landscapes and still life, the exhibit seeks to offer viewers a refuge from stressful and often divisive issues of the day.

On view are works by gallery artists' Patricia Chandler - cold wax and oil; Kevin Daley - oil; Scarlet Kinney - watercolor and pastel; and Roy Perkinson - oil.

Serenity - 2018 is open free of charge every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. from November 2 through November 25, 2018. Additional days and times by chance or scheduled by appointment.
