"In 2017, Cambia Health Solutions received multiple awards for diversity in hiring, including achieving a perfect score on the 2017 Corporate Equality Index. We are honored to support PDX Women In Technology's growing organization and outreach in the technology community!" said Lori DeLone, Cambia Vice President and CIO of Health Plans."The best solutions come from diverse teams. At Cambia, we don't have a mission; we have a cause: 'To serve as a catalyst to transform healthcare, creating a person-focused and economically sustainable health care system.' Creating a culture of inclusion and a supportive work environment that attracts and retains talented women, is key to achieving our cause. We expect our teams to not only respond to the changing needs of our consumers but to also bring their own personal experiences to the table."

This event is open to the public, and it is advised to RSVP in advance through Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pdx-women-in-tech-pdxwit-fou...). The event will feature an activities table, table topics to support networking, and a section for job seekers and hiring managers who want to connect with talent among a diverse group.

About PDXWIT:

PDXWIT (http://www.pdxwit.org/) is a community-based non-profit organization. Our purpose is to strengthen the Portland women in tech community by offering educational programs, partnerships, mentorships, resources, and opportunities. We are unifying a supportive environment for current and potential women in tech, all of whom are committed to helping each other. Our goal is to bring together and empower women in tech and to encourage others to pursue tech careers. This is our step towards reducing the gender imbalance in the industry and addressing the current negative effects of that imbalance on women.

Our events are inclusive. All people who support our purpose are welcome.
