Both modules are based on 6th Gen. Intel® Core™ i processors (codenamed 'Sky Lake'). This Starter kit provides a complete, ready-to-run environment for projects based on these computer-on-module (COM) boards, accelerating development of small form factor embedded systems. The starter kit contains your selection of the two new COM Express pin-out Type 6 modules, two DDR4 4GB RAM modules, heat spreader, 128GB SSD, a 12.1" LCD panel, a carrier board in ATX form factor, cable kit, and all necessary software and documentation. The COM Express Type 6 computer-on-module evaluation carrier board comes with a Gigabit Ethernet port, dual channel 24-bit LVDS, and can be operated in an extended temperature range of −40°C to +85°C. Target applications are compute-intensive and/or graphics-intensive solutions, including industrial automation, harsh environment applications, as well as medical computers and equipment.
