New ARBOR 3.5 inch Compact Board with 6th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors

Dec. 7, 2017 - PRLog -- ARBOR Technology, a leading provider of embedded computing solutions, announces its 3.5 inch Compact Board EmCORE-i89M2 based on the new Intel® 6^th Generation Core™ processors (formerly codenamed "Skylake-H") and Intel® QM170 Platform Control Hub. Built on Intel's new 14nm process technology, the EmCORE-i89M2 adopt 6^th generation Intel® Core™ processors, and supports the Intel ® Turbo Boost Technology, enabled to increase CPU processing speed to deliver breakthrough CPU performance, excellent graphic capability as well as the enhancement in security and management functions, which make the EmCORE-i89M2 ideal for intelligent application in several market segments, such as medical, digital surveillance, gaming, digital signage, communication and defense.

The EmCORE-i89M2 comes with one non-ECC DDR4 SO-DIMM socket supporting up to 16GB of system memory. Graphics interface supports dual LVDS outputs, HDMI and DisplayPort. High interconnectivity is available via two Gigabit Ethernets, four RS-232 and two RS-232/422/485 serial ports. Storage is available through two SATA3 ports and one NGFF M.2 M-Key socket. Expansion supports Mini PCIe and SIM sockets. Other useful features include Watchdog Timer, 8-bit digital I/O and Intel® Active Management Technology 11.0.

Thanks to native USB 3.0 support, the board achieves fast data transmission with low power consumption. Two USB 3.0 & four USB 2.0 ports are provided and High Definition Audio provides MIC-in, Line-in & Line-out interfaces.
