Randy "Windtalker" Motz's distinctive style of contemporary flute is blended with lush orchestration and Native percussion, weaving a musical tapestry that continues to entertain audiences everywhere.

"Windtalker's" beautiful and creative compositions serve as a captivating soundtrack for a backdrop of dramatic and breathtaking photos taken by his wife, Georgia Harris. The audience will be taken on a soothing, sometimes playful, and always entertaining journey to iconic vistas of the Southwest and along the Coast to Coast Path in the U.K. Throughout the performance, "Windtalker" also intersperses stories, legends, and historical and cultural facts about Native Americans, making for a very memorable evening.

In addition to performing traditional Native American flute compositions from his popular CDs, "Native SoundScapes" and "Canyon Whispers," "Windtalker" will also be performing jazz and blues, as well as classic rock songs that are sure to get your feet tapping. Come enjoy creative interpretations of songs from Eric Clapton, Bob Seger, Santana, Van Morrison, The Moody Blues, Prince, Kansas and Led Zeppelin. "Windtalker will also be performing several songs from his recent-released CD, "Hózhó – Walking in Beauty" which rose to #16 on the One World Music Radio Top 100 in December 2016.

Audiences throughout the mid-Atlantic acclaim the "Windtalker Experience" as mesmerizing, breathtaking, moving, hauntingly beautiful, profound, soothing, entertaining, educational, heartfelt, captivating, enchanting, vibrant, relaxing, exotic, and a performance that must be seen and heard.

For years, "Windtalker" has been delighting audiences with his special brand of music at festivals, state and national parks, coffee houses, wineries, senior living facilities, schools, churches, private parties and other intimate venues. He has also been the guest performer for a moonlight tour held by the National Park Service at New Mexico's Pueblo Bonito ruins at Chaco Canyon National Historical Park and a National Park Service boat trip through the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Most recently, he was invited to perform for the opening ceremonies at a solidarity rally in Annapolis, Maryland in support of the Standing Rock Sioux who are protesting the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline through their reservation in North Dakota. Songs from his CDs can be heard on I-Tunes, Pandora, Rhapsody and many other online music streaming websites. He now brings his amazing show back to the Frederick Coffee Company & Café for his first show of 2017.

As an advocate for Native Americans, "Windtalker" will donate a portion of the proceeds from this performance and merchandise sales to the Association on American Indian Affairs (AAIA), the oldest Indian advocacy organization in the United States. AAIA's programs fall into three main categories: youth/education, cultural preservation, and sovereignty.

Says "Windtalker," "I am excited about this new opportunity to put my passion for Native American people into action in a meaningful and enduring way. By supporting me and my music, audiences will be helping the Association on American Indian Affairs in their mission to promote the well-being of American Indian and Alaska Natives by:

1. Promoting the health, education and welfare of children and youth;

2. Sustaining and perpetuating tribal languages and cultures;

3. Protecting tribal sovereignty, religions and natural resources;
