Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce announces 2017 Board of Directors at 59th Annual Meeting

BROOKFIELD, Wis. - Nov. 23, 2016 - PRLog -- The Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce's (GBCC) 59^th Annual Meeting was held on Thursday, November 17^th at Embassy Suites Hotel, Brookfield, Wis.

Carol White, President and CEO of GBCC said, "The annual meeting provides us with an ideal forum to recognize those members who have embraced volunteerism and chosen us to be the beneficiary of their time and talent. We are pleased to welcome our 2017 board of directors, and to recognize our outgoing board members for their past years of service."

Elected board of directors are:  Board Chair – Lori Choinski, Gerald Nell Inc., Waukesha; Past Board Chair – Bob Suycott, Willis Towers Watson, Brookfield; Derek Berube – First Bank Financial Centre, Brookfield; Lynn Braden – Winter, Kloman, Moter & Repp, SC, Brookfield; Spence Mather – Securant Bank, Hartland;  Tiffany Mitchell-Detvan – Edward Jones Investments, Greenfield; Gjeret Stein – Sensible Gurus, Brookfield; Anthony Calvino, FedEx Ground; Matt Geik, G&G Juice Co. (Jamba Juice), Brookfield; and, Joe Weitzer, Center For Business Performance Solutions (WCTC), Pewaukee, Wis.

Lori Choinski said, "I'm honored and excited at being elected Board Chair for GBCC. We have an incredible board, and I'm looking forward to continuing to work with them and with Carol on more ideas to make this Chamber even greater than it already is. The enthusiasm and commitment that Carol has to this Chamber is infectious, and I'm excited about the coming year."

The Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce is the largest membership business organization in Brookfield, representing the interests of business in Brookfield and the surrounding area.  The Chamber also recognizes the value in creating collaborative partnerships with other chambers in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties.
