DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in Charlotte on October 27

LOVELAND, Ohio - Oct. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 27, 2016.  The event is sponsored by Bank of America and will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."

In May of 2016, the DAV-RecruitMilitary Charlotte event connected more than 309 veteran job seekers with 64 exhibitors, including Apple, Coca Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated and The Sherwin-Williams Company.  Participating companies expected to conduct up to 385 interviews and make up to 74 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 23 events in Charlotte, drawing 7,898 attendees and 749 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country.
