DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in Minneapolis on October 13

LOVELAND, Ohio - Sept. 26, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at the Earle Brown Heritage Center on October 13, 2016.  The event is sponsored by Hankook Tire and will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."

In April of 2016, the DAV-RecruitMilitary Minneapolis event connected more than 120 veteran job seekers with 48 exhibitors, including Accenture, Boston Scientific Corporation and Wells Fargo. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 286 interviews and make up to 84 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 7 events in Minneapolis, drawing 1,458 attendees and 354 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country.
