MyPledger enabled re:imagine/ATL to collect 5x more donations than last year at annual event

ATLANTA - Aug. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- re:imagine/ATL's powerful mission was combined with Atlanta's local celebrity scene to yield a successful Purple Sparkle Carpet Event which was held Saturday, July 30 at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. The event, produced by The 2econd Floor, was held to celebrate the conclusion of their 2016 Green Room Summer Camp which gives young film makers (5^th-12^th graders) the tools to become future filmmakers.

Sporting their finest 80's attire, the campers and volunteers danced the night away as they were entertained by musical guest such as DJs-WERC Crew, Jimi Cravity with We the People, Myra Sky, and Oryx and Crake. Secondhand Swagger attended but did not perform. The Purple Sparkle Carpet event is held annually and this year re:imagine/ATL decided to incorporate the technological tools of MyPledger to assist with their fundraising campaign. Last year re:imagine/ATL used Stripe machines to collect donations. This year, with the help of MyPledger, the campaign collected five times that of the previous year.
