MyPledger collects 98% of pledges within one week of Whiskey with WIFTA event

ATLANTA - Aug. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- WIFTA - Women in Film & Television Atlanta, hosted a summer fundraising event Whiskey with WIFTA on August 6, 2016. The goal of the event was to raise money and awareness for WIFTA's continuous efforts to improve the image of women in the TV and Film industry. The party, held at the 874 Gallery in Atlanta, provided its guests with exquisite hors d'oeuvres alongside samples of Georgia whiskey, bourbon, and rum specialty cocktails along with an educational opportunity in the Private Tasting Lounge.

To meet their fundraising needs, WIFTA partnered with MyPledger. Through MyPledger, the event, which was attended by Atlanta's growing population of writers, producers, directors, and actors, was able to reach over half of its fundraising goal within an hour. With the ability to see their pledges in real time on a live dashboard, the excitement in the room caused many to eagerly give based on the rapport and enthusiasm. As a testament to the power of MyPledger's post event workflow (voice, text, and email), WIFTA collected 98% of the pledges within one week of the event. The sense of excitement around giving that was created by MyPledger's platform was evident by the generosity of the events' attendees.
